The SILENTIUM acoustic element has been specially developed for the LED pendant ring light BIRO40 with a diameter of 100 cm and a height of 10 cm. This round insert element with a diameter of 89 cm and a smooth surface noticeably improves room acoustics. It reduces disturbing noises and reverberation, thereby significantly enhancing acoustic intelligibility during conversations and presentations. In this way, the SILENTIUM element creates a more pleasant sound environment and supports better communication.

Technical Features and Material Quality

The acoustic element is made of sustainable PET plastic, with approximately 80% of the material produced from recycled PET. Weighing only 1.37 kg, it is easy to install and handle. The sound insulation achieves an aw value of 0.70 (mid-high frequency range) and an NRC value of 0.85, guaranteeing effective absorption of sound waves. Furthermore, the product meets fire protection class B - s1, d0 according to the standard BS EN 13501.1, providing increased safety during use.
