With a diameter of 106 cm and a height of 2.4 cm, this round insert element fits seamlessly into the light fixture and effectively improves the room acoustics. It ensures that disturbing noises and reverberation are significantly reduced, which enhances acoustic clarity during conversations and presentations.

Technical Features and Material Quality

The acoustic element is made from sustainably produced PET plastic, using approximately 80% recycled material. Weighing 2.23 kg, the product is both lightweight and robust. The textured surface additionally contributes to sound absorption. The sound insulation achieves a sound absorption value (aw) of 0.70, while the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) is 0.85 – these values confirm the high efficiency of the element in reducing noise.

Safety and Quality Standards

The SILENTIUM acoustic element meets important safety requirements and has fire protection class B – s1, d0 according to standard BS EN 13501.1. This provides good protection against fire hazards. Additionally, the material has been tested for color fastness and achieved a rating of 6-7 according to ISO 105 B02. This high color fidelity ensures that the colors remain beautiful and do not fade even after prolonged use.
