Technical Details Made Easy

The NV downlight operates with a low-voltage operating voltage of 12V and uses a GX5.3 socket for MR16 halogen lamps with a maximum of 13 watts. This allows for individual selection of the light source so that brightness, color temperature, and light character can be adjusted as desired. The luminaire is symmetrically oriented, ensuring even light distribution, making it ideal for accent or object lighting.

Protection and Installation Comfort

With an IP65 protection rating, the downlight is well protected against dust and splashing water, which increases durability and ensures reliable operation. The luminaire is installed by recessed mounting and is suitable for standardized 68 mm drill holes. For larger openings, practical reducing rings are available. The delivery includes clip springs, a diffuser, and the socket, making installation straightforward and quick.

Flexibility Through Accessories and Dimmability

The OGDAN NV downlight offers numerous customization options: it can be combined with dimmable lamps to regulate light intensity as needed. Additionally, there is the option to use different types of lamps that vary in consumption, light color, and light character. Optional switchable and dimmable LED versions are also available, offering further advantages such as energy efficiency and SmartHome compatibility.
